Richard A. Colla (born April 18, 1936) is a retired American director. He directed the Original Series pilot episode "Saga of a Star World" as well as its 1978 theatrical version, Battlestar Galactica. Yet he left the set four days before the end of shooting and was replaced by Alan J. Levi (who has been uncredited for this).
