  • The character of Dr. Paye was supposed to be supporting in "Saga of a Star World" and more important, but almost all the shot sequences with John Fink have been cut during the editing because they were related to the illness Serina contracted which was written in the early scripts. Paye was supposed to diagnose a lethal disease and take care of her until her death. This plot has been dropped in the final cuts. As a consequence, Fink only appears on screen only for a few seconds when he fixes Cassiopeia's broken arm. However, all the cut sequences are available on the DVD/Blu-ray extra material of the Original Series complete season.
